Enmarcado en los actos del XXX Aniversario de la Facultad de Veterinaria te invitamos a asistir a una Charla sobre el Sistema de Especialización Europeo y que se desarrolla en forma de Internados y Residencias en los Colleges europeos.
La charla será impartida por Alejandro Suárez Bonnet, egresado de nuestra Facultad que está haciendo una Residencia en Anatomía Patológica en el Royal Veterinary College de la University of London.

Alejandro graduated from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 2005 and after a short period in small and large animal practice he enrolled in a PhD program investigating the pathogenesis of canine mammary tumors. On completion of the PhD he gained a post-doctoral scholarship to continue his research on cell cycle regulators and comparative oncology. Since 2009 he has participated in the Anatomic Pathology Diagnostic Service with Professors A. Espinosa and P. Herraez at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Alejandro joins the Anatomic Pathology Residency Program at the RVC with a 4-year Horserace Betting Levy Board (HBLB) Clinical Scholarship and will perform a research project investigating infectious upper airway disease in Thoroughbred horses. His particular interests are equine pathology and comparative oncology.
